Dr. Allen Arnette has always pursued a course of study that would allow him to work in the healing arts. “My goal has always been to treat patients naturally and holistically.” Through his many years of formal education and training in bodywork and chiropractic, along with his study of oriental medicine and acupuncture, he is proud to offer his patients the best of the healing arts from both the West and the East. During the course of his career, he has successfully treated thousands of patients of all ages and backgrounds for a wide array of ailments and conditions.

It All Started When...

In 1997, Dr. Arnette received his Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from the Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles, where he is also a former member of the faculty. In 1991, he completed his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, CA. And, in 1984, while Dr. Arnette was pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in Texas with coursework comprised of pre-med studies, he also earned his certification in massage therapy.

Then, in 1987, the US Department of the Navy offered him a complete scholarship for medical school, which he turned down in order to study Chiropractic and later, Oriental medicine instead. In pursuit of expanding his expertise in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, Dr. Arnette has frequently traveled to China. His studies there were conducted in clinical settings in both hospitals and private medical offices. Coursework included traumatology, orthopedics, internal medicine, gastroenterology, OB/Gyn, pediatrics, neurology and psychology.

And, never one to rest on his laurels, in 2006, Dr. Arnette became a certified yoga instructor. He strongly believes that the practice of yoga is like “active acupuncture.” The individual practice of yoga balances the body’s energy from the inside, out. He currently teaches yoga at Whaley Park Community Center in Long Beach, California.

Dr. Arnette’s professional practice of Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Chiropractic, Nutrition and Peripheral Neuropathy Treatment is at ParkView Health & Wellness Center in Long Beach where he is also the Director. His expertise in holistic healing and medicine is truly unmatched.
